Padparadscha sapphire is a very rare variety of sapphire whose color is often described as sunset-colored. Padparadscha sapphire's name is derived from the Sinhalese word for Lotus blossom. Lotus blossoms are beautiful flowers that are found throughout Sri Lanka, where the gem was originally discovered. One of the most famous Padparadscha sapphires of all time is worn by Princess Eugenie of York, which is estimated to weigh between 3 and 4 carats. The prized gem was given to her as an engagement ring in 2018. Padparadscha sapphires are currently mined in Sri Lanka (Ceylon), Madagascar, and Tanzania. >> Click here to visit the Padparadscha Sapphire section of our website. >> Click here to shop our collection of Padparadscha Sapphires. #GlobalGemology #padparadschasapphire #padparadscha #padparadschasapphirejewelry #padparadschasapphirering #padparadschasapphires #raresapphire #pinksapphire #naturalpadparadscha #raregems #jewelry #beauty #fashion #history #gemologist #certifiedmasterappraiser #jewelryappraiser
