Information:  Wadsworth Watch Case Company was founded in 1892 by Harry Arthur Wadsworth and J.H. Stegman, in Newport, Kentucky.  Produced high grade gold and gold-filled pocket watch cases for watch manufacturers until being absorbed by Elgin National Watch Co. in 1953, and ultimately closing in 1958.

Information:  Wang Hing & Co. was founded in 1854, by the wealthy Lo family, in Canton, China.  One of the most prolific Chinese silver exporters, partially due to their reputation as a direct supplier of silver for Tiffany & Co.

Information:  Warner Co Jewelers was founded in 1867, in Fresno, California.  Worked primarily in gold and silver.

Information:  Wedgwood was founded in 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood, in Stoke-on-Trent, England.  Known for their fine china, porcelain, and luxury accessories.  Wedgwood developed jasperware pottery in the 1770s, a type of unglazed, ceramic stoneware with a matte, "biscuit" finish.  Works primarily in porcelain.

Information:  Paul Boéchat & Cie. was founded by Paul Boéchat in 1893, in Delémont, Canton of Jura, Switzerland.  The company became known as Wenger et Cie, named after Theodore Wenger.  Produced watch cases and buckles, as well as Swiss Army knives and other accessories.

Information:  Whiting's origins date back to 1840 when Tifft & Whiting was founded by Albert C. Tiffy and William Dean Whiting.  After several partnership changes, Whiting Manufacturing Company was founded in 1866, in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.  They worked primarily in silver until the company was absorbed by Gorham in 1926.
