The emerald cut is sometimes referred to as "the most revealing cut". Emerald cuts are rectangular shaped with cut corners and a step cutting style. Due to its step cut facet arrangement, imperfections within an emerald cut diamond are more recognizable than those within a brilliant cut diamond. For this reason, it's important to consider higher clarity diamonds when shopping for emerald cuts.
This magnificent three-stone platinum ring features a 1.05 carat emerald cut diamond that has been graded G color, VS1 clarity by the GIA. This is a very high quality emerald cut with tons of brilliance!
The center diamond is flanked by two vivid purple-pink natural sapphires. According to their GIA Sapphire Report, both sapphires are untreated and their vivid coloration is completely natural!
The platinum setting was custom made for these 3 stones. It's stamped "PLAT" and is presently a size 6 1/2.
