This is an original, antique bar pin from the Edwardian Era, circa 1901-1915.

The pin features one (1) rose cut rhodolite garnet set in a ten prong basket setting. The garnet is a lovely purplish-red hue. It measures 8.77 x 7.53 x 3.89mm.

Please note that several prong tips are damaged, but the gem is still secure.

Faux seed pearls are set along the bar as well as in a halo, framing the rhodolite. These faux pearls are made of an iridescent glass that displays orient, as natural pearls would!

The brooch is fastened by a tension pin with handmade, stylized C-catch.

The brooch is not hallmarked, but tests solid 18 karat and weighs 6 grams.

Please note the minor damage to the gallery of the brooch.
