This beautiful, antique stickpin from the Art Nouveau Era (circa 1895-1910) features precious opal, demantoid garnet & old mine cut diamonds set in rose gold.


The precious opal is very lively, showing bright flashes of red, yellow, orange, green, violet, blue, and purple. It measures 6.50 x 4.75mm and is crazed towards the bottom of the opal.


The opal is surrounded by a halo of diamonds and demantoid garnets!


The piece contains five (5) bright green demantoid garnets. They average 1.50mm in diameter and total approximately 0.10 carat.


The pin also contains seven (7) natural diamonds. Six (6) of which are old mine cut diamonds, and one (1) of which is a modern round brilliant cut replacement. They average 1.50mm in diameter and total approximately 0.10 carat.


The head of the stickpin tests 14 karat while the pin tests 10 karat.


Gross weight of the stickpin is 1.5 grams.
