Circa 1837-1901
The center diamond is a natural old mine cut that measures ≈ 4.21 x 4.03 x 2.54mm. It has an approximately weight of 0.30 carat, grades H color and I1 clarity.
The ring also contains eight (8) natural old European cut diamonds, averaging 2.50mm in diameter. These diamonds total ≈ 0.50 carat, grade H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity.
Total diamond weight of the ring is approximately 0.80 carat.
The dark blue enamel extends outward from the center diamond, in a starburst motif. The enamel shows minimal signs of wear, nearly impossible to notice without the use of magnification.
The ring has a hallmark that has partially visible due to wear, but tests solid 14 karat.
The ring is presently a size 4 and has a gross weight of 3.8 grams.
Please Note: There is evidence of a prior sizing located at the ring shank.
