Kunzite Facts

Picture
45 carat kunzite set in a custom sterling silver pendant on a strand of 8-9mm freshwater pearls.
This vintage pearl necklace features a pendant set with a faded pink kunzite

Kunzite is the pink variety of spodumene.

Kunzite gets its delicate pink color from traces of manganese.

The intensity of kunzite's pink will fade over time as it's exposed to the sun's UV rays.

Some consider kunzite to be an alternate birthstone for February.
