Goldstone is a variety of glass with a phenomena known as aventurescence.

Goldstone glass has a glittery appearance caused by light reflecting off of many microscopic copper platelets.

Goldstone is commonly brown or blue, but can be produced in any color.

(Goldstone is commonly mistaken for sunstone, a natural variety of labradorite.)
