Information:  Eddie Tsosie is a Native American Navajo silversmith, raised in Arizona.  The Tsosie family is a large family including many Navajo silversmiths.  Eddie worked in silver, but was also a proficient painter.

Information:  Effie Calavaza, wife of Zuni silversmith, Juan Calavaza, began creating jewelry in the 1950s.  Her earlier work with her husband was signed under his name, "Juan C. Zuni".  Later, she and her three daughters, Georgiana Yatsatti, Gloria Jean Garcia, and Susie Calavaza all signed their work as "Effie C. Zuni".  Worked primarily in silver.

Information:  The Elgin National Watch Company was founded in 1864, in Chicago, Illinois by the following founders:  Philo Carpenter, Howard Z. Culver, Benjamin W. Raymond, George M. Wheeler, Thomas S. Dickerson, Edward H. Williams, and W. Robbins.  Primarily produced silver, gold filled, and solid gold watch cases before ultimately closing in 1968.
